Metabolic Typing identifies how to eat properly for your nutritional type.
The 4 Main Metabolic Types:
Carbohydrate Dominant |
Performs better with a higher healthy carbohydrate intake (vegetables, beans, healthy grains) and less heavy proteins and fats such as beef. |
Mixed Dominant |
Requires foods that are a combination of the protein and healthy carbohydrate dominant types. |
Protein Dominant |
Requires higher quantities of proteins and fats, including beef, dark meat poultry, nuts, etc., and lower amounts of carbohydrates. |
